John Cena Dealing with More Major Problems, Talk on His WWE Future

- There has been talk within WWE for about 6-8 weeks that John Cena is still having problems with his shoulder but is now having more problems with his neck. These are longterm nagging issues that Cena has been dealing with.
It was also said that there are a lot of people within WWE keeping an eye on Cena to see where he will be going forward in regards to acting and not wrestling as much.
There are also people within WWE who say Cena appears to be in pain and they believe Cena has slowed down physically in the way he moves.

Is Ryback Leaving WWE for a While or Taking a Shot at CM Punk?

- Ryback tweeted that he was going away for a while. His tweet included a photo of his action figure standing over CM Punk’s action figure with a “sorry punk” commented.
WWE sources noted to PWInsider that back when Ryback feuded with Punk in 2012, there was a spot at an event where Ryback was supposed to drop Punk through a table. The spot was botched and Punk hit the floor, causing Punk to be hurt. Some of the wrestlers were under the impression this week that Ryback was just taking a shot and making fun of CM Punk.
Ryback is not expected to take any time off and the sources talking did not believe he was really injured. It’s worth noting that Curtis Axel has been working singles matches for about a week now and as noted, Adam Rose mentioned on Main Event last night that Ryback is injured.

Daniel Bryan Talk's Staying Optimistic for His Future, Kenta Being In NXT, More

- Scott Fishman of The Miami Herald spoke with Daniel Bryan during SummerSlam weekend to promote WWE 2K15 and more. Below are some highlights:

WWE 2K15 and video games:
“It’s weird because I’m not a video game player. I haven’t had a video game system since the Nintendo. Then, all of sudden, you see these new games, and they are so lifelike. I was playing the ‘WWE 2K15.’ I was Cesaro versus Goldust. I was like, ‘This is incredible. This is actually what Cesaro looks like.’ Randy Orton has this scar on his hand, and it’s in the video game. It’s incredible.”
His status and staying optimistic:
“That’s the frustrating part. It’s been great because Brie has been such an integral part of the storylines the last couple of weeks. So that’s been fun. I actually don’t have much free time since I’m doing so much physical therapy. …It’s hard because I don’t have a timetable of when I’m coming back. Say if I get another surgery, it’s going to be another three months. Three months ago in WWE it was different than what it is right now, so it’s hard to tell [who I would be working against when I return]. I don’t get too down. This kind of issue has happened to a lot of people with nerve problems. The nervous system is so crazy and complex. The weirdest part is the lack of strength in my arm. So I do get mildly concerned that it won’t come back, but I’m pretty positive.”
WWE signing Prince Devitt, Kenta and Kevin Steen:
“I think it’s awesome. Not only is it great for those guys, but it’s great for everyone on the roster because then they get to wrestle those guys. I learned so much wrestling Kenta. That’s one of the reasons I got here. Now Kenta is in NXT. The guys who get to wrestle Kenta, for one, they are going to be very sore because he kicks very hard. Two, they are going to learn a lot. It’s the same thing for guys like Sami Zayn and Kevin Steen and Devitt. Those guys are going to do really well, but the people who wrestle them are going to learn a lot.”

Sting Talks Possible WWE Role, Who Else He Wants to Face, WWE Reaction

- Brian Fritz of The Orlando Sentinel recently spoke with Sting to promote WWE 2K15 and more. Below are some highlights:
One more match for WWE
“I do believe I have enough left in my tank for one more match and I would love for that match to be against Undertaker. If that can’t happen, Triple H, I think. I just would like to have one more match. I would love to say I had one match under the WWE banner and, of course, WrestleMania. Who wouldn’t want to say that they wrestled at WrestleMania at least one time.”
The reaction to working with WWE so far:
“I’ve been blown away at the reaction. From the corporate part of the company, I was up in WWE offices recently and spoke with Vince and Triple H and everyone up there. I met every department under the sun and everybody is excited so that affects me. When I see that they’re excited, it makes me excited too all the more. And then the WWE fans, they’ve been gracious. They’re really, really good, really pumped up.”
Would he work as a WWE Ambassador?
“Yeah, I’m open to that, definitely. I’m open to whatever doors may or may not open. I love the business so yeah, I can see myself being an ambassador.”

Paul Heyman Talks WWE Not Wanting CM Punk From The Start, Punk Having To Swim Upstream In WWE

Paul Heyman recently appeared on The KiddChris Show and shared his recollections of CM Punk's earliest work in WWE. The show's host led into the discussion by asserting that WWE never wanted anything to do with Punk and Heyman agreed.

"They never wanted CM Punk to begin with," Heyman said. "When I was in Louisville, doing WWE Developmental, they sent CM Punk down to me so I could fire him. Every week I would send memos to guys who were in charge of the Raw and SmackDown rosters saying: 'You have a main eventer down here; someone scoop him up' and no one would take him for a year—to the point when we launched ECW in WWE, I brought him with me because no one else on Raw and SmackDown even wanted him."

Heyman explained that Punk's biggest successes were against WWE's will and contrary to their judgment and praised Punk for his accomplishments despite these issues.

Heyman also discussed his philosophy on what it takes to create a compelling heel persona and broke down some of the key factors surrounding Brock Lesnar's success in WWE.

CM Punk Makes Shocking Confession to Leave WWE Fans Scratching their Heads

Even when WWE fans had their eyes firmly fixed on SummerSlam, CM Punk managed to keep himself in the news amongst wrestling fans.
Real response?
This weekend news spread across the internet questioning whether CM Punk had been arrested. And in a tweet on his personal account on Monday, he answered them.
"“‪@thatnigga_juju‬: ‪@CMPunk‬ why everyone saying u was arrested ?” Because I totally got arrested."
That was CM Punk answering a tweet today relating to his arrest rumors that have taken over the internet.
Now we know that CM Punk is a well known joker. He is often sarcastic about a lot of things, but his own arrest would surely not be one of those instances?
It most likely is just him joking around, but if it's true it completes an already crazy year for the former superstar.
'CM Punk arrested' is currently a top trend on social media. Some reports have suggested that the initial rumors may have simply been created by trolls on the internet.
It's quite likely that CM Punk was just responding to some insane trolling on the internet,

Huge Talk on CM Punk’s WWE Future – Is He Really Done?, Legal Issues, Heyman

Paul Heyman appeared on The MMA Hour yesterday and said CM Punk’s goal in life is to never lace up his wresting boots again, whether it be for WWE, Ring of Honor, Japan or anywhere else.

Heyman said Punk believes if he comes back, he will be a failure. Heyman also thinks that Punk feels his success in life is predicated on never going back.
Heyman also noted that he believes WWE doesn’t want Punk back ever again. Of course there’s always the chance that something happens down the road and Heyman pointed this out.
Within WWE, there’s a feeling that even if Punk wanted to come back, WWE wouldn’t let him and right now, they do not want him back. It’s said that there still could be legal issues coming out of Punk’s departure from the company.

- There is belief within WWE that there is a lot more interest in Sting after the WWE 2K15 announcement than there was in The Ultimate Warrior when they made the 2K14 announcement last year. This could be because Sting is more current and because there is a feeling that he could wrestle for WWE.

- Below is the trailer for the new season of WWE Total Divas that premieres on September 7th:
