Reason Behind Summer Rae’s Removal From Fandango

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has provided a reason behind Summer Rae’s removal from Fandango. As we previously reported, Fandango “broke things off” with Summer Rae over Twitter, replacing her with Layla moving forward. The reason for this angle is due to Summer Rae’s involvement with the filming of WWE picture, “The Marine 4.”

As previously reported, a “leaked” script of the April 14 edition of “Monday Night Raw” claimed that both Summer Rae and The Miz were out of action because they are filming “The Marine 4.” The report confirms this information claiming that Summer Rae needed a way to explain her absence, and the Twitterific break-up was the scripted angle.

When she returns to WWE television, which the “leaked” script and report claim will be on May 16, Summer Rae will compete as a Singles superstar. She will also portray a “heel” character, based on here WWE “Total Divas” persona.
